Founded by USA Basketball certified coach Horace Grant Jr. and endorsed by four-time NBA Champion Horace Grant, HoopsLab emphasizes discipline, confidence, accountability, character building, and long-term player development on and off the court.
This program was created to give young athletes a fun, positive place to learn the game the right way. We believe great training is about more than basketball skills. It's about building confidence, work ethic, and a love for the game. Our goal is simple: help every athlete improve, have fun, and leave each session better and more confident than when they arrived.
Horace Grant is a four-time NBA Champion, but the championships aren't what define him. After being drafted out of Clemson, Horace spent 17 years in the NBA doing whatever it took to help his teams win. Along the way, he won three championships with the Chicago Bulls and a fourth with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Most people know him for the goggles, but they represent something bigger. Even after LASIK surgery, Horace kept wearing them because kids with glasses told him seeing him play made them believe they could too.
More than an NBA champion, Horace is the inspiration behind HoopsLab. The values that drive our program — hard work, confidence, teamwork, and treating people the right way — come directly from his example. Our goal is simple: help young athletes improve their skills, build confidence, and grow both on and off the court.
"Championships are built on the details nobody else wants to work on."
— Horace Grant, 4× NBA Champion
